Joyce Tarantino

Joyce, a New Jersey native, began her career in real estate after purchasing a parcel of land in Highlands, NC, and has since earned a real estate broker's license in 7 states. She immediately gravitated to new construction and created a niche as a sales professional in residential new construction. Joyce has sold in excess of 750 homes, exceeding $300 million in sales.

Selling everything from a studio condominium to a luxury custom home in 5 states, she also learned the craft of building and renovating houses along the way. Her expertise is starting new home developments and condominium building projects from the ground up – comfortable in a pair of work boots and a hard hat, walking a new site. Joyce has worked for national builders such as Drees Homes and Toll Brothers and for both Mayhood and McWilliams Ballard, DC's major sales and marketing companies. She has earned sales awards at the local, state and national level, with area Associations, Sales and Marketing Councils and the National Association of Home Builders.

Not only can she achieve great sales results, but with her eye for detail, national contractors have even asked her to oversee their finishing process in luxury condo buildings. She fell in love with city life after having lived in Italy a few times, and now calls DC home. From her travels, she learned to speak Italian, garnered a culinary diploma and found the time for sommelier courses. Needless to say, one of her favorite place's is a vineyard somewhere in Italy, sampling the latest vintage.

In her spare time, she can usually be found at the Yoga studio, the Georgetown library, or cooking up an authentic dinner, with the appropriate wine, for friends at home. Italian, of course!
